Lake Erie College (2-4, 0-4 GLIAC) was locked in a scoreless tie for most of the contest but a late Ohio Dominican University (4-1-1, 2-1-1 GLIAC) goal gave the Panthers a 1-0 victory in Columbus, Ohio.

The star of the game for the Storm was freshman goalie Megan Baldacci (Cavecreek, Ariz./Cactus Shadows), who made 11 saves in the losing effort.  Baldacci kept the Storm in the game as they were outshot 25-4, and ODU held a 13-3 advantage in corner kicks. 

The Panthers scored the game's lone goal in the 79^th minute as Sierra Patterson took a pass from Marie Fudacz and split Lake Erie defenders before finding the back of the net. 

Lake Erie is in action next on Friday, Sept. 24 when it travels to take on Grand Valley St. at 4:00 p.m.
