PAINESVILLE, OHIO – The Lake Erie College volleyball team's opening weekend through the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) continued on Saturday afternoon (Sept. 11) with a 3-0 loss at the University of Findlay.

The Oilers (5-2, 2-0 GLIAC) won by scores of 25-15, 25-21, 25-17 and had 42 kills and a .363 hitting percentage, compared to just 27 kills and a .143 hitting clip for the Storm (3-4, 0-2).

Junior Michelle Naab (North Royalton, Ohio/North Royalton) had eight kills to lead the Lake Erie offense while sophomore Mary Walter (Solon, Ohio/Notre Dame Cathedral Latin) added six.

Jessica VonIns had a match-high 12 kills to lead Findlay.

The Storm closes out its three-match weekend trip on Sunday, Sept. 12, at 25^th-ranked Hillsdale College.
