PAINESVILLE, OHIO - The Lake Erie College volleyball team had its season-opening three-match wining streak snapped this afternoon (Aug. 29) by host Indiana University of Pennsylvania in the final match of the Crimson Hawk/Hampton Inn Invitational.

The Crimson Hawks (2-1) won in three sets, 25-18, 25-21 and 25-20.

Freshman hitter Nicole Kunar (Northfield Center, Ohio/Nordonia) led the Storm (3-1) offensive attack with six kills.  Sophomore Krista O'Connor (North Royalton, Ohio/North Royalton) had 15 assists and classmate Brittany Raggets (Eastlake, Ohio/Villa Angela St. Joseph) had 18 digs on defense.

The Storm returns to action on Wednesday, Sept. 2, at Notre Dame College at 7 p.m.
