CANTON, Ohio -- The Lake Erie volleyball team could not fight off Walsh University in Thursday's (Oct. 29) 3-0 loss to the Cavaliers (15-25, 13-25, 19-25). 

The Storm (8-25) got eight kills from freshman outside hitter Mary Walter (Solon, Ohio/Notre Dame Cathedral Latin).

Sophomore setter Krista O'Connor (North Royalton, Ohio/North Royalton) led the Storm with 11 digs and nine assists, while sophomore Brittany Raggets (Eastlake, Ohio/Villa Angela-St. Joseph) added 10 digs.

The Cavs (25-6) got 12 kills from Brittany Morris in the win.

The Storm return home on Saturday (Oct. 31) for a tri-match with Glenville State (1 p.m.) and Findlay (5 p.m.). The Pioneers and Oilers will play at 3 p.m.
