Storm Set Back in Straight Sets by Scots

PAINESVILLE, OHIO - The Lake Erie College volleyball team fell on the road tonight (Oct. 27) in straight sets at Edinboro University, dropping the match by scores of 25-12, 25-21, 25-14.

Despite the loss, freshman Mary Walter (Solon, Ohio/Notre Dame Cathedral Latin) led the Storm (8-24) with six kills and five service aces. Sophomore Michelle Naab (North Royalton, Ohio/North Royalton) had five blocks on defense while freshman Paige Baldauf (Marion, Ohio/Marion Pleasant) had nine digs.

Edinboro (20-9) won its second straight. Lake Erie is back on the road on Thursday (Oct. 29) at Walsh University.
