PAINESVILLE, OH - The Lake Erie College women's soccer team lost 2-1 on the road to Bluffton University Tuesday afternoon. The Beavers scored the only goal of the first half and then went on to score the first goal of the second half to take a 2-0 advantage in the 61st minute.

It wasn't unti the 79th minute that the Storm removed the goose egg from the board, when junior forward Angela Bethel (Beavercreek, Ohio/Miami Valley) received a cross from senior Loni Sargent (Hubbard, Ohio/Hubbard) where she faked out the goalie and put the ball in the net to put LEC down by one.

Lake Erie had nine shots on the day, but only managed to connect on one as they fall to 1-2 overall.
