PAINESVILLE, OH - The Lake Erie College Women's Soccer team lost their first conference game against Frostburg State. The Storm lost, at home, to the Bobcats 7-1. Frostburg State is ranked as the number one seed in the AMCC.
At the half, the Storm were down 4-0. Trying to fight back in the second half, Angela Bethel (Beavercreek, OH/Miami Valley) scored on a pass from Emma Hoskins (Fairfield, OH/McAuley). Even with that goal the Storm were unable to build a comeback.
The Women's Soccer team looks to make a comeback in the conference taking on Pitt-Bradford, Tuesday, September 26th. The game is set to start at 2:00 pm with the Men following at 4:00 pm.
