Sept. 18 - Cassie Stanz (Jamestown, N.Y./Jamestown) scored two goals, including the game winner with less than five seconds remaining, as the Lake Erie College women's soccer team defeated D' Youville 2-1.

Stanz's first goal, coming off a feed from freshman Loni Sargent (Hubbard, Ohio/Hubbard), put the Storm ahead 1-0, but D'Youville knotted the score five minutes before the half. With the game seemingly heading into overtime, Stanz, a sophomore, drilled a shot into the back of the goal off a cross from junior Keri Cameron (Mentor, Ohio/Mentor).

Junior goalkeeper Jane Roberts (Rochester, N.Y./Greece-Odyssey) earned the win.

Lake Erie (1-4) will travel to Thiel on Tuesday, Sept. 21 for a 4:00 p.m. contest.
