Robert Miller is entering his second season as an assistant coach of the Storm women's soccer program in 2025.

Miller came to Lake Erie after serving as an assistant coach at Notre Dame College from 2011-2023. During his 13-year tenure with NDC, the Falcons compiled a record of 135-66-30 while finishing as the Mountain East Conference (MEC) tournament champions three times and regular season champions five times. The Falcons also appeared in the NCAA DII tournament three times during his time. After finishing the 2020-2021 season with a 6-2-3 record and an MEC title, Miller and the NDC staff were named NCAA DII Atlantic Region Coaching Staff of the Year.

In addition to Lake Erie, Miller has been heavily involved with the Cleveland Force Soccer Club. He has served as the Elite Clubs National League (ECNL) Girl's Director of Coaching since 2020 and was the United States Soccer Girl's Development Academy Director of Coaching from 2018-2020. He also serves as an Ohio North Coaching Instructor, a role he has held since 2002.

From 2003-2018 he was a part of the Region II Olympic Development Program staff and was the Head Age Group Coach from 2014-2018. He also served as the CSA Impact Girl's Director of Coaching from 1999-2017 and currently holds an A License and a National Youth License from the United States Soccer Federation (USSF).

Miller graduated from John Carroll University in 1997 with a B.A. in Communications. During his undergrad, he was a four-year member of the men's soccer team and helped the Blue Streaks win Ohio Athletic Conference (OAC) regular season titles in 1993 and 1995 and the tournament championship in 1993.

He currently resides in Mentor with his wife Julie and their three children, Kai, Harlow, and Cade.
