DJ Haskins is in his first year as running backs coach and run game coordinator at Lake Erie College.

Before arriving in Painesville, Haskins spent the 2025 season as the running backs coach at NAIA Siena Heights University (MI) where he coached two all-conference selections. A native of Flint, Michigan, Haskins previously served as the assistant offensive line coach and tight ends coach at NCAA Division III Adrian College (MI) from 2023-25.

A three-year starter at center and five-year member of the Siena Heights football team from 2013-17, Haskins won a conference championship in 2014 and was an MSFAA all-conference selection in 2017. Additionally, he served as team captain and was named offensive line MVP in 2016 and 2017.

Following his playing career, Haskins spent three years in the United States Army as a Forward Observer.
