Chris Corso is entering his fifth year as the Assistant Director of Athletics for Sports Information at Lake Erie in 2025-26. He is currently the primary contact for football, men's soccer, women's basketball, wrestling, softball, and STUNT.
At Lake Erie, Chris manages statistics and records for the Storm and oversees the athletic department's main social media pages and website. He also serves as the department's primary photographer and graphic designer. in addition, he handles all publicity and media relations for the department and writes press releases for all 18 intercollegiate sports programs. Chris also serves as the D2CCA men's soccer Midwest Region coordinator and has been a judge for the College Sports Communicators (CSC) Creative & Digital Design Contest since 2024.
Professionally, Chris spent time in minor league baseball as an intern with the Mahoning Valley Scrappers of Niles, Ohio in 2016 and 2018. In 2018 he joined the Air Force Reserves where he served as a Public Affairs Specialist until 2022. During the spring of 2021, he started working for Lake Erie College as a photographer for athletics.
Outside of his professional work, he is a very involved concert photographer in the northeast Ohio area, shooting for many local bands and venues on a regular basis.
Chris graduated from the University of Findlay in 2019 where he earned his B.S. in Business and Brand Professionalism. During his undergrad, he also gained experience as a photographer for the men's and women’s basketball programs.
A proud native of Youngstown, Ohio, Chris now resides in Euclid, Ohio.
