Biography

2017: Appeared in 38 games... led the team with a .415 batting average...led the Storm in RBI with 32, and was second on the team in doubles with 12.  Karako was named Second team All-GLIAC.  

2016: Appeared in 42 games... hit .333... 28 RBI, 23 runs scored and four stolen bases... 1.000 fielding percentage... All-GLIAC Second-Team honoree... named to GLIAC All-Academic Excellence Team

2015: Karako started all 38 games for the Storm and was named second team ALL-GLIAC.  She was second on the team in batting average .368, led the team in doubles with nine, and had two homeruns.  Karako did not strike out all season.  

PRIOR TO LAKE ERIE: Four-year letterwinner at nearby Lake Catholic…Four-time All-Conference selection, including two First-Team and two Second-Team selections…named All-Conference MVP in junior year…selected to the News Herald’s  four times, including three First-Team nods, and the Plain Dealer’s First-Team once…two-time All-District Second-Team selection…holds career batting average record at Lake Catholic (.478)

PERSONAL: Born on September 6, 1996…daughter of Todd and Nan Karako…joins sister Liz on the Storm softball team…plans to study biology at Lake Erie
