Summary

Biography

2015: Gironda was named first team All-GLIAC this season as she appeared in 38 games with 37 starts.  She had a team leading .375 batting average and also led the team in triples with three.  Gironda led the team in stolen bases and was second in the GLIAC with 21 on the season.    

PRIOR TO LAKE ERIE: Gironda also played softball for two seasons at Kent State, earning two First-Team Academic All-MAC selections and being named a CoSIDA Capital One Third-Team Academic All-American, becoming the first student-athlete in the history of the MAC to be named Academic All-American in two sports.  In May of 2014, she was named the Kent State female recipient of the first annual Medal of Excellence Award presented by the MAC.
