Prior to Lake Erie: Played four years of softball for Brookside High School in Sheffield OH…was scholar athlete all four years and Honorable mention all-conference in 2007, second team all-conference in 2008, 2009, first team all-conference in 2010 as well as first team all county…were district runner-ups in 2009 and sectional champions in 2009…won 48 games losing 24 with an ERA or 1.29, 751 strikeouts, one perfect game, seven no-hitters and 46 shutouts, all while having a .386 B.A.
