Lake Erie College

Grace Jackson is entering her third year as the head coach of the Storm softball program in 2025.

Jackson came to Lake Erie after a successful playing and coaching career at the University of Northwestern Ohio (NAIA).  A 5-year starter at UNOH, upon graduation Jackson joined the staff as a full-time assistant in charge of the outfielders and hitting in addition to being the head coach of the JV program and responsible for the program's extensive youth camps and coordinating recruiting.  

During the 2021-2022 campaign the Racers reached program heights with a 16-6 conference record, batting .328, with 38 home runs, placing their hitters in the top 20 in multiple categories nationally.  She was also instrumental in recruiting 13 new varsity and 15 new JV student-athletes for the 2022-2023 season.  

As a player, Jackson was a center fielder from 2016-2021 with a career batting average of .380. In 2017 she was named to the NFCA First Team All-Region and First-Team All-WHAC. In 2018 was named to the Second Team All-WHAC and WHAC All-Defensive Team. In 2019 was named to the NFCA Second Team All-Region and First Team All-WHAC, and in 2020 was named to the First-Team and All-Defensive Team.  

She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Sports Marketing & Management (2020) and Master’s in Business Administration (2022).
