Biography

Prior To Lake Erie- Hamel competed as a four-year letter for the Bethel Park Hawks. Throughout her high school athletic career, Hamel was also a first-team all-conference selection for Outfield, and her team was section champions in 2015. Additionally, she was an NHS academic member her sophomore, junior, and senior years, as well as a Presidential Award honoree.

Her senior year she recorded a batting average of .528, and had a perfect fielding percentage.
