Biography

2017: Appeared in 36 games.  Birtley was tied for the team lead in triples. 

2016: Played in 41 games... hit .262... had 14 RBI, 15 runs and two stolen bases... .966 fielding percentage... named to GLIAC All-Academic Excellence Team

2015: Birtley appeared in in 29 games for the Storm making 25 starts as a freshman.  She batted .267 on the season, with six doubles and two triples.  Birtley was a solid outfielder for the Storm as she only made two errors this season.     

PRIOR TO LAKE ERIE: Four-year letterwinner at nearby Mentor…earned All-Conference selections…selected to News Herald’s Second-Team…helped the Cardinals reach the state semifinals in 2013

PERSONAL: Born on August 16, 1996…daughter of Dave and Cathy Birtley…plans to study criminal justice at Lake Erie
