PRIOR TO LAKE ERIE: Earned first-team All-Northeast Ohio Conference honors as a senior at Lakewood High School... played four years of football for the Rangers... also played basketball and rugby... member of the Rugby Club and Captains Club.

PERSONAL: Born July 16, 1992... son of Kevin and Diana Gaul... majoring in sports management with a minor in criminal justice... dad played collegiately at Dayton and gradfather, Frank, played at Notre Dame under Frank Leahy
