Sarah-Emily Woodward is entering her third season as the associate head coach of Storm cross country and the assistant track & field coach in 2024-25. She also currently serves as the Assistant Director of Athletics for Co-Curricular Engagement/Senior Woman Administrator.
A native of Bowling Green, Kentucky, Sarah-Emily began her coaching career at Cameron University in Lawton, Oklahoma as a Graduate Assistant. She helped found the university's first women's cross country team as well as the men's and women's track and field team. In 2019, she began her position as Assistant Coach at her alumni of Austin Peay State University in Clarksville, Tennessee. While at Austin Peay State University she was a part of the 2020 Indoor Ohio Valley Conference Championship Team. She recorded a school-record Distance Medley Relay Team at the 2022 Ohio Valley Indoor Conference Championship. Throughout her time at both Cameron and APSU she had multiple individual conference podium finishes.
She graduated from Austin Peay State University with a Bachelor's in Business Management. While attending APSU she competed all four years in The Ohio Valley Conference Championship for the cross country and track and field team. She also served as an executive board for the APSU Student-Athlete Advisory Committee.
