Juliana Stogsdill

Juliana Stogsdill is entering her first year as the assistant coach of the Storm cross country and track & field programs in 2025-26.

Stogsdill started her college coaching career at Lewis University in 2024 as the Graduate Assistant Coach. On the women’s side she coached the team to 6th place finish at the 2024 NCAA DII Cross Country Championships and a 2nd place finish at 2024 NCAA DII Cross Country Regionals. She also led the team to their third straight GLVC Championships triple crown (cross country, indoor, outdoor). 

On the men’s side, Stogsdill coached the team to a 12th-place finish at the 2024 NCAA DII Cross Country Championships and a 2nd-place finish at the 2024 NCAA DII Cross Country Regionals. She helped lead the men to victory at both the 2024–2025 GLVC Cross Country and Outdoor Track & Field Championships.

Stogsdill coached the first All-American of her career at the NCAA DII Cross Country Championships (Horgan, 2024). Since then, she has guided three additional athletes to All-American honors: Horgan (Indoor ’25), Smrcka (Indoor & Outdoor ’25), and Edwards (Outdoor ’25). Evan Horgan and Hannah Smrcka were both named 2024 GLVC Athletes of the Year after winning the GLVC Cross Country Championships, and Horgan was additionally recognized as the 2024 Midwest Region Athlete of the Year after his NCAA Midwest Regional victory. During her time at Lewis, Stogsdill has developed seven NCAA qualifiers, 15 All-Midwest Region athletes, 44 All-GLVC performers, and 14 GLVC champions.

She earned her bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology from Ball State University in 2023, where she competed in cross country and track & field. Continuing her academic and athletic journey, Stogsdill completed her master’s degree in Organizational Leadership at Lewis University in 2025 while utilizing her fifth year of eligibility. During her time at Lewis, she earned USTFCCCA All-Academic honors.

Her accolades as an athlete include: 2023 NCAA DIi Cross Country nationals qualifier. NCAA Dii provisional mark in 3,000m steeplechase, 5,000m, and 3,000m, and was a 2-time GLVC All-Conference athlete.
