2019: Appeared in 49 games as a sophomore... averaged .350 at the plate with an on-base percentage of .386 and a slugging percentage of .452... hit for an average at the plate of .500 or better in 14 games... two of which he batted .1000... longest hit streak was five games (three times)... led the Storm in hits (62) of which 14 were for extra bases including four triples to tie the program record...

2018: Appeared in 26 games and started 16 games as a freshman... averaged .279 at the plate with an on-base percentage of .353 and a slugging percentage of .311... hit for an average at the plate of .500 or better in eight games, including three of which he batted .1000... longest hit-streak was six games... hit two triples and stole seven bases on nine attempts...

High School: Earned All-Greater Cleveland Conference Honorable Mention three times, and All-District and All-County Honorable Mention twice... earned All-Academic honors... two-time district championship and regional runners-up with the Mentor Cardinals his senior season... averaged .350 at the plate for high school career with 35 stolen bases and 55 RBIs...

Personal: Born on November 21, 1998... son of Dave and Cathy Birtley... sister (Arial) is a Lake Erie College alumnus and Storm softball alumnus... made the Dean's List as a freshman and sophomore... very involved on campus including duties and responsibilities as a Campus Ambassador, Tour Guide, Orientation Leader, and Resident Assistant... also involved with Pre-Med Club and was a Student-Athletic Trainer with the football program... also assists the Athletic Department with in-game operations... pursuing a major course of study in biology with plans to attend physical therapy school after graduation.
