2012: Recipient of GLIAC All-Academic Teamhonors... appeared in 10 games, making nine starts, as a junior...posted a 2-5 record with 4.84 earned run average in 44 2/3innings... struck out 15 on the season, with five multiple-Kgames... scattered eight hits in a 1-0 shutout of Tiffin on 4/7 forhis first win of the season... suffered a tough-luck loss atNorthwood on 4/21, allowing just one run on seven hits in sixinnings... tied for second on the team with two complete games...struck out three in five innings to earn win against Findlay on4/14.
2011: Pitched in 10 games as a sophomore,making nine starts... posted a 3-2 record with 5.63 ERA... tossed46.1 innings, second most on the team, and struck out 25... tosseda complete-game one-hitter to defeat Hillsdale 6-1 on 4/2 for theprogram's first GLIAC victory. Allowed one unearned run andstruck out two (one walk) in seven innings... struck out acareer-high eight in six innings against Pitt-Johnstown on 3/19. Allowed three runs on seven hits with a walk in the 5-4 Stormvictory... allowed two earned runs or fewer in six starts... heldTiffin to just two earned runs (three total) in 6.1 innings of 4-3win on 4/9 but did not factor in decision... pitched six innings ofmore five times.
2010: Made 13 appearances on the year withtwo starts... posted a 2-1 record with a 5.32 ERA (third on theteam) in 26 innings... picked up his first win againstBaldwin-Wallace on 3/27 as he did not allow a hit in two innings...won his first start with five scoreless innings against Notre Dameon 4/21 as he allowed three hits.
PRIOR TO LAKE ERIE: Played four years ofbaseball at Alliance High School... graduated as the winningestpitcher in school history (23-6)... was a two-time All-NortheasternBuckeye Conference selection (second team 2008, first team 2009)...helped lead team to three NBC championships, one districtchampionship and one district runner-up finish... also played threeseasons of basketball and football and one season of soccer...played on a total of seven conference championship teams in hishigh school career.
