Biography

2011: Appeared in seven games as a junior, making one start... did not record a hit in five at bats, but drew one walk. 

2010: Served as a back-up catcher and appeared in nine games with two starts... did not record a hit in 11 at bats, but walked twice.

2009: Appeared in 17 games, making eight starts, as a back-up catcher as a freshman...  hit .167 (4-for-24) with two runs scored and an RBI... threw out 25% of attempted base stealers.

PRIOR TO LAKE ERIE: Played four years as a catcher and infielder at Chardon High School... twice awared team's sportsmanship award.

PERSONAL: Born Nov. 10, 1989... majoring in business administration... son of John and Valerie Christani.
