Biography

2012: Was a GLIAC All-Academic Team honoree...pitched in eight games, making a pair of starts as a junior... was0-1 with a 5.91 earned run average in 10 2/3 innings... struck outsix and did not yield an earned run in four of his eightappearances... allowed two earned runs (three total) on five hitsin four innings in his first start at Ashland 4/25, but sufferedthe loss... gave up just one run on four hits in three inningsagainst the Eagles on 4/4.

2011: Appeared in 11 games out of the bullpenas a sophomore... was 0-1 with an 8.31 ERA, however allowed runs injust three of his 11 appearances... pitched three shutout inningsof one-hit ball against Wayne State on 5/8. Walked one and struckout three.

2010: Saw eight appearences on the mound,including three starts... posted a 0-1 record and an 11.85 ERA in13.2 innings... held opponents to a .260 batting average.

PRIOR TO LAKE ERIE: Played four years ofbaseball at St. John's Jesuit High School... was a first-teamall-district and All-City League selection playing first base andpitching... also played basketball and football.

PERSONAL: Born June 14, 1991... majoring inbusiness... parents are Jim and Marsha Shaw.
