Biography

2014: Played in 47 games with 147 at bats and a .272 batting average... recorded nine doubles and 14 RBI... finished the season with .995 fielding percentage.

2012: Appeared in six games as a fresman, including two starts behind the plate... batted .400 (4-for-10) with one RBI... made most of his first career start, going 3-for-4 with a run driven in at Tiffin on 4/6... picked up first career hit vs. Southern Arkansas on 3/15... was 3-for-5 in throwing out attempted base stealers. 

PRIOR TO LAKE ERIE: Two-year member of the baseball team at Olentangy Liberty High School... played as the catcher for the 2010 Ohio Central Conference champions, and also on the 2010 district runner-up Patriots.

PERSONAL: Born September 21, 1992... majoring in criminal justice... parents are Jim and Davene Yankle.
