Mike Eversole is entering his first season as the interim head coach for the Storm baseball program and third overall in 2025. He previously served as the assistant coach from 2023-2024 for the Storm.

Prior to joining the Lake Erie College staff, Eversole was the Graduate Assistant Coach at Eastern New Mexico University and the Lone Star Conference - one of the most competitive conferences in all of D2. Eversole was the lead hitting coach and assisted with infield, outfield, and recruiting. During his time at Eastern, the program went from a 3-win program to the most conference wins in program history during his time. His offense at Eastern saw an increase in the majority of offensive statistics including 31 more doubles (78), 24 triples (5th in the nation), and being 5th in the conference in stolen bases (73). The program also saw its 1st player to receive All-Conference honors since 2018 in Spencer Roach. The program also saw victories against 4 programs in the top 25 rankings. 

Eversole played 4 years of college baseball at Hiram College, a member of the NCAC Conference. During his time, Eversole was a 3-time academic all-conference member and served as a team captain his senior season. 

Eversole also gained experience being a head coach in the Brownlee Lookouts organization from 2018-2022. He also served as the lead hitting instructor for the organization and the Director of Marketing and College Placement.

Eversole graduated from Hiram College in 2020 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Communications with minors in Sport Management and Entrepreneurship. He also received his Master’s Degree from Eastern New Mexico University in Health & Physical Education with a Sports Administration emphasis.
