2017: Started 42 games as a freshman... hit for an average of .245 at the plate... recorded a slugging percentage of .381 and an on-base percentage of .335... hit for an average of .500 or better in seven games including two of which he batted.1000... drove in 21 runs and hit four home runs... 

High School: Earned All-Ohio Honorable Mention and First-Team All-District Honors... three-sport athlete at Vermillion High School...

Personal: Born on July 24, 1998... son of Kim Smith and Rick Waller... majoring in marketing with a minor course of study in business administration at Lake Erie College.
