GREENWOOD, Ind. -- The College Sports Communicators (CSC) has announced their 2025-26 Academic All-District Teams for cross country and track & field. The Storm were represented by two student-athletes on the list:
Genesis Ghide-Bryan
Maggie Waldo
To be eligible for Academic All-District honors, an NCAA student-athlete must have at least a 3.50 cumulative GPA while also meeting established performance benchmarks based on individual results. Eligibility is determined by regional rankings and only individual performances may serve as the basis for qualification. Relay participation may strengthen a nomination but cannot, by itself, establish eligibility.
Qualification standards are:
- NCAA Cross Country: Top 50 individual finish at the NCAA regional championship during the current academic year.
- NCAA Track & Field: Top 50 regional ranking in an individual event (indoor or outdoor).
Ghide-Bryan qualified for Academic All-District honors after earning regional rankings of t-15th in the indoor triple jump, 36th in the indoor pentathlon and t-17th in the outdoor triple jump, while Waldo secured recognition with regional rankings of t-14th in the indoor high jump and ninth in the outdoor high jump.
