PAINESVILLE, Ohio -- The Lake Erie College Department of Athletics has announced its selections for the 2026 Hall of Fame Class, honoring four individuals and one team. The Class of 2026 will officially join the 60 other members of the Hall of Fame during an induction ceremony on Sunday, October 18.

2019 Men's Soccer Team
The 2019 Lake Erie College men's soccer team established itself as one of the greatest teams in program history, finishing with an outstanding 18-3 overall record and a 13-1 mark in G-MAC play. The Storm captured the G-MAC Regular Season Championship, advanced to the conference tournament championship match, and became the first team in program history to earn a berth in the NCAA Tournament. Along the way, Lake Erie posted a 4-2 record against NCAA Tournament opponents, climbed as high as No. 4 in the national rankings, and concluded the season ranked No. 16 in the nation. Individually, the team's excellence was equally impressive, producing three D2CCA All-Americans, four D2CCA First Team All-Region selections, three USC First Team All-Region honorees, one Second Team All-Region selection, and All-Region Player of the Year Jonathon Carr. The coaching staff was recognized as the All-Region Coaching Staff of the Year, while the Storm also swept four of the G-MAC's major individual awards, including Offensive Player of the Year, Defensive Player of the Year, Freshman of the Year, and Head Coach of the Year. The team also earned four First Team All-G-MAC selections, one Second Team All-G-MAC honoree, and one All-G-MAC Honorable Mention, cementing its legacy as one of the most accomplished squads in Lake Erie College athletics history.
Keegan Bal - Men's Lacrosse (2010-13) - Class of '13
A member of the inaugural Lake Erie College men's lacrosse team,
Keegan Bal helped lay the foundation for the program while establishing himself as one of the greatest players in its history. Over a remarkable four-year career, Bal appeared in 59 games with 58 starts, totaling 127 goals, 69 assists, and 196 points while adding 118 ground balls. His outstanding 2013 season earned him Second Team USILA All-American honors, ECAC Division II Offensive Player of the Year, First Team All-ECAC recognition, and a spot on the ECAC All-Tournament Team. He was also a three-time ECAC Division II Player of the Week and finished fourth in NCAA Division II with 83 points during the season. Bal still holds school records for assists in a game (7), career assists (69), career points (196), and single-season points (83), while ranking second in single-season assists and third in both career goals (127) and single-season goals (47). Following his collegiate career, he became the first player in program history to be selected in the National Lacrosse League Draft, going in the third round to the Toronto Rock. His professional career has continued to reflect the excellence he displayed at Lake Erie, most recently earning NLL Offensive Player of the Year honors and First Team All-NLL recognition. As a cornerstone of the program's inaugural team and one of its most decorated student-athletes, Bal's impact on Lake Erie men's lacrosse continues to define the standard of excellence for future generations.
Nick Boggs - Wrestling (2014-15 - 2018-19) - Class of '19
Nick Boggs established himself as one of the most accomplished wrestlers in Lake Erie College history through a career defined by consistency, perseverance, and success on the national stage. Competing over five seasons, Boggs compiled a career record of 99-39, including 11 pins, 14 technical falls, and 14 major decisions. His 99 career victories are tied for third in program history, while his 14 career technical falls rank fourth and his seven major decisions in a single season are tied for second. A 2x First Team All-GLIAC selection (2014-15, 2015-16) and Second Team All-G-MAC honoree (2018-19), Boggs qualified for the NCAA Division II National Championships twice and earned All-America honors during the 2016-17 season. His sustained excellence throughout his collegiate career helped elevate the Lake Erie wrestling program and secured his place among the greatest competitors to represent the Storm.
Jonathon Carr - Men's Soccer (2018-19) - Class of '20
In just two seasons at Lake Erie, Jonathon Carr established himself as one of the most accomplished student-athletes in program history. Appearing in and starting all 36 matches of his career, Carr totaled 15 goals, 16 assists, and 46 points while playing a pivotal role in one of the most successful eras of Storm men's soccer. His historic 2019 campaign earned him First Team D2CCA All-America honors, Second Team United Soccer Coaches All-America recognition, D2CCA All-Region Player of the Year, First Team All-Region honors from both D2CCA and United Soccer Coaches, G-MAC Offensive Player of the Year, and First Team All-G-MAC recognition after previously earning Second Team All-G-MAC and Second Team All-Ohio honors in 2018. Carr's leadership on the field helped guide the Storm to its first NCAA Tournament appearance and one of the greatest seasons in program history. Equally impressive in the classroom, he was recognized as a First Team D2CCA Academic All-American, United Soccer Coaches Academic All-American, United Soccer Coaches Scholar All-Region selection, CoSIDA Academic All-District honoree, and OCSA Academic All-Ohio selection in 2019. Through his outstanding accomplishments on the field, dedication in the classroom, and lasting impact on the program, Carr exemplified the excellence of a Lake Erie College student-athlete.
Isaac Snyder - Track & Field (2009-10 - 2013-14) - Class of '13
Isaac Snyder distinguished himself as one of the most versatile and accomplished student-athletes in Lake Erie College track and field history through his success in the heptathlon, hurdles, sprints, and relay events. A two-time NCAA Division II All-American, Snyder earned national honors in the indoor heptathlon during the 2010-11 season and as a member of the outdoor 4x400-meter relay team in 2011. He qualified for the NCAA Division II National Championships four times, competing in the indoor heptathlon on three occasions and helping the Storm's 4x400-meter relay reach the national stage outdoors. Snyder also earned three USTFCCCA All-Region selections and was a three-time Second Team All-GLIAC honoree in the heptathlon. His name remains etched throughout the Lake Erie record book, holding school records as a member of both the indoor (3:15.44) and outdoor (3:11.25) 4x400-meter relay teams while also setting the program record in the indoor heptathlon with 5,029 points. Snyder's remarkable athleticism, consistency, and ability to excel in multiple disciplines helped establish the standard for future generations of Storm track and field athletes.
