Shanon Smith - Defensive Player of the Year - First Team
In 2025, Smith had a historical season not only for the Storm but for the G-MAC as well. She broke two program and G-MAC single-season records this year, grabbing 80 ground balls and averaging 4.71 per game. In addition, she also set the career mark with 180 and the Lake Erie single-game record with 10. Across all NCAA DII competitors, she ranks third. Besides her outstanding ability at recovering the ball, Smith also caused 38 turnovers, which is the fourth most in the G-MAC. This first team nod is now the second of Smith's career and her third All-G-MAC honor.
Madelyn Goodrich - Second Team
Goodrich enjoyed a career year for the Storm, putting up career numbers in goals (46), assists (12), and points (58). She was a very effective shooter, posting a percentage of .418 overall and .791 on goal. During the season, she also scored her 100th career goal during a five-goal performance against Ursuline. This is the first All-G-MAC honor of Goodrich's fantastic career.
Brook McNeal - Second Team
After a fantastic freshman campaign in 2024, McNeal's 2025 season was arguably more impressive. McNeal led the team with 49 goals, which was the sixth most in the G-MAC. She also added 11 assists for a point total of 60; all career bests. On the defensive end, she won 35 draw controls and caused 20 turnovers while grabbing 37 ground balls.
