INDIANAPOLIS, Indiana -- The Great Midwest Athletic Conference has announced the men's basketball all-conference selections for the 2024-25 season. The Storm earned two selections with
Derrick Anderson and
Cameron Johnson earning second team honors.
Derrick Anderson - Second Team
To anybody who watched Storm basketball this season, this honor comes as no surprise. Anderson was one of the main consistencies for his team throughout the yar. He appeared in and started all 29 games and averaged a team-high 23.5 minutes per game. His 13.8 points per game ranked 12th in the G-MAC and 3.1 assists per game ranked seventh.
He shot an impressive 42.9 percent and scored 400 points on the year to wrap up one of the better season's in recent program memory.
Cameron Johnson - Second Team
As good as his teammate was, Johnson was just as lethal. He finished 10th in the G-MAC averaging 13.9 points per game while shooting 48.8 percent from the field, the sixth best in the conference. His 404 total points marked the highest total for a Storm player since Gabe Kynard in 2019-20.
He led the team with 135 total rebounds (4.7 per game) and 14 blocks (0.5 per game); both of which ranked top-25 in the G-MAC.
