PAINESVILLE, Ohio -- The Lake Erie softball team concluded their season today at home against the Tiffin Dragons. The Storm fell in both games and finish their season with a record of 3-37 and 3-23 in G-MAC play.

The game was neck-in-neck for the beginning half of the contest.Â
In the bottom of the fourth, the Storm scored first off of a solo home run for
Emma Spahr, her ninth of the season.Â
From there, Tiffin's Maddie Woods took over the game with a three-run home run and a grand slam to account for all seven of the Dragon's runs scored in the 6th and 7th innings.
Down 7-1 in the bottom of the seventh, the Storm scored twice more, once on a
Jordyn Long double and another on a
Brynn Gillen single to left field, wrapping up the game with a 7-3 final.Â
Spahr, Gillen, Long,
Bridget Mullholand, and
Jasmine Gonzales all notched a hit in the game.

The final game of the double header was uneventful for the Storm. The offense had no answer for the Dragon pitching and they failed to record a hit in the game, resulting in a 14-0 loss in five innings to conclude the season.
