AVON, Ohio – The Lake Erie Storm Men's Baseball team had a short road trip on Sunday, February 25, to take on the Notre Dame College Falcons in a double header series. Lake Erie cruised past the Falcons to pick up their first two wins of the season in the double header with a score of 11-6 in game one, and 10-4 in game two. This brings their record to 2-4 on the year.

Lake Erie had no trouble in game one against the Falcons putting up five runs in the first inning. They went on to put up safety runs in the sixth and seventh innings combining for five more runs. Dominic Poltrone won his first game of the season bringing his record to (1-0). He went five innings giving up three runs and striking out four. Sebastian Silva hit a bomb for the Storm in the first inning giving Lake Erie a huge lead early. Silva drove in four runs, while Israel Espinosa drove in two. All but three players managed to get a hit in game one. AJ Dallmayer picked up his first career save on the day.

NOTRE DAME COLLEGE - 4
The Storm once again won with ease with a score of 10-4. Robert Helt picked up his first win of the season bringing his record to (1-1). He went a strong six innings only giving up three earned runs and striking out seven. Lake Erie again started off strong in the first inning scoring three. Sebastian Silva continued to dominate hitting a ground rule double driving in two runs. Mannuk Cadiz picked up his first career homer in the fifth inning bringing the score to 6-3. Silva and Zimba Cadiz each drove in two runs in the game.
