FINDLAY, Ohio – The Lake Erie women's soccer team battled the University of Findlay Oilers for another Great Midwest matchup. The Storm would fall 3-0 in the match bringing their record to 1-10-1 (0-8 G-MAC).

The Oilers got off to a hot start as in the eighth minute as they were able to score first. Just under ten minutes later, they would strike again with another goal to extend their lead to 2-0. For the Storm, despite their best efforts, they were not get a single shot off in the first half.

In the second half, the Oilers would get off 10 shots, but freshman goalie Morgan Vanmeter guarded the goal well and made four saves. Unfortunately for the Storm, the Oilers were able to find the net in the 66th minute and bring the score to 3-0. The Storm had two shots in the half. Sophomore Leonie Witt and freshman Lilly Hanson both had opportunities to score, but the Oilers goalie saved both shots.

The Storm will be back in action on Saturday, October 14th in Ashland, Ohio at 6:30 pm. They will be battling the No. 1-ranked Ashland University Eagles for the second time this season.
