STORM WARNING: Lake Erie Heads South To Take On KWC

(OWENSBORO, Ky.) – After a lengthy layoff Lake Erie will be back in action tomorrow evening as it visits Kentucky Wesleyan to resume G-MAC competition. The Storm are 11-7 overall and 6-4 within the conference, while the Panthers are 7-10 and 5-6.

It will be just the fifth meeting all time between the two schools in a series that started in 2008-2009. The Storm fell in last year's encounter 81-68. The only win for the Green and White came during the 2013-14 campaign with a narrow 89-88 win.

Lake Erie is led by Gabe Kynard who has scored 18.3 points per game, the second-best mark in the G-MAC. Kentucky Wesleyan will counter with Adam Goetz who averages 14.5 points a contest.

Tip-off with the Panthers is set for 8:45 p.m. eastern. A watch party will take place at Burgers2Beer in Concord on the south end of town. The event will start at 5:30 p.m. with the women's game tipping off at 6:30 p.m. Ten percent of all sales will be given to Lake Erie College athletics. Small prizes will also be offered throuhout the evening.
