Storm Hosts Wheeling Jesuit on Senior Day (PREVIEW)

#11 LAKE ERIE COLLEGE vs. WHEELING JESUIT UNIVERSITY

The 11th-ranked Lake Erie College men's lacrosse team hosts Wheeling Jesuit University in an ECAC contest.

SENIOR DAY: Before the game, the Storm will honor their seven seniors: Tyler Smoot, Connor Ryan, Mitchell Shafer, Courtland Black-Araujo, Zach Bruening, Tom Lipomi and Kole Robinson.

LAST TIME OUT: The Storm fell to Mercyhurst University 12-4 in Erie. Lucas Shafer led the Storm with three goals and one assist. Mitchell Shafer had a goal while Edmond Renaud had an assist. Brandon Donohue led the Storm defense, causing three turnovers while picking up a groundball.  Tyler Smoot caused two turnovers had picked up a groundball. Bret Swan won nine-of-15 faceoffs and collected a team-high six groundballs.  Zach Bruening tallied four groundballs. Tom Lipomi started in net, making seven saves.

SERIES HISTORY: The Storm and the Cardinals have met seven times previously with the Storm winning five of those matchups.

OPPOSITION POSITION: The Cardinals enter the game with a 7-4 record.  They are coming off a 16-15 overtime win over Seton Hill University.
