Storm Women Fall in Nonconference Action to Visiting Edinboro

MENTOR, OHIO -- For the second time this spring, Edinboro University dealt the Lake Erie College women's tennis team a defeat, this time a 9-0 decision Sunday (April 15) at the Mentor-Heisley Racquet Club.  

The Fighting Scots (8-11) won each contest match in straight sets over the Storm (0-15).  Junior Emily Rose-Gray (Marine City, Mich./Marine City) played well in defeat at fourth singles, narrowly falling to Kirsten Garcynski 5-7, 6-7 (5-10 tiebreaker).  Rose-Gray and sophomore Brittany Kelly (Geneva, Ohio/Geneva) also lost a close second doubles contest to Garczynski and R'yanne Baldwin, 8-6.

Lake Erie concludes the 2011-12 season on Wednesday, April 18, with a nonconference match at Walsh University.
