PAINESVILLE, OHIO -- Visiting Lake Superior State University swept five contested singles matches and two doubles matches en route to a 9-0 win on Friday afternoon (Sept. 10) over the Lake Erie College women's tennis team in the Storm's home opener at Mentor Heisley Racquet Club.

The Lakers (3-0, 1-0) remained perfect on the season while the Storm (0-3, 0-3) remained winless in its first season in the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference.

Lake Erie remains at home this weekend and will host Michigan Tech University in a GLIAC match on Sunday, Sept. 12.
