Lake Erie College

Cassandra Wendall is entering her third year as Assistant Director of Athletics for Sports Operations at Lake Erie in 2023-24.

Wendall came to Lake Erie College from Malone University where she was the men’s and women’s head swimming and diving coach in 2021. Prior to that, Wendall was the head coach at Urbana University from 2018 to 2020. Other coaching experience included serving as head coach of the University of Pikeville and assistant coaching positions at the University of the South and the University of Mount Union.

Wendall graduated from Lake Erie College with a bachelor’s degree in 2014. During her undergrad, she was a part of the swimming and diving team when it was founded in 2010. Wendall would also earn her master’s degree in 2021 from Lake Erie.

In addition to her collegiate coaching experience, Wendall served as a coach for Hartwick College's swim camp, with the McCutcheon Swim Club, and the Maverick Aquatics program.
