2011-12: Competed in seven matches at 197 pounds as a redshirt freshman, posting a 1-6 overall record... won his only dual meet action, picking up a win against Baldwin-Wallace College.

2010-11: Competed unattached in open tournaments his first year on campus.

PRIOR TO LAKE ERIE: Earned four varsity letters in wrestling at Wickliffe High School... was a team captain for two years... earned all-Chagrin Valley Conference honorable mention and academic All-CVC... played four years of football... was a member of National Honor Society.

PERSONAL: Born July 1, 1992... majoring mathematics and education... parents are Anthony and Karen Vitale.
