2014-15: National Runner-up at 165-pounds... All-American honoree... won 17 matches... had 11 reverals... finished second at regionals... First-Team All-GLIAC

2012-13: 31-8 overall record...ranked in national top-eight most of the season...14-3 record in both opens and duals...finished third at the Mount Union Invitational...won the Midwest Classic and Storm Open titles at 165-pounds...finished fifth at Regionals

2011-12: Had a record-setting freshman campaign, becoming Lake Erie's first NCAA Division II All-American and was one of two National Championships qualifiers, making the field at 165 pounds... posted a 33-14 overall record, setting a school-record for most wins in a season ...went 12-6 in dual meet action and was 21-8 at open tournaments... was 2-1 in GLIAC competition... led team with 23 victories by decision and tied for second with three technical fall victories... went 32-13 at 165 pounds and also posted a 1-1 mark at 175... finished sixth at the NCAA Division II Championships with a 3-3 record... placed second at the NCAA Super Regional Two and finished third at the Midwest Classic... took third place at the season-opening University of Mount Union Invitational and was fifth at the Storm Open. 

PRIOR TO LAKE ERIE: Posted a 174-30 career record and was a state champion at Clarkston High School.

PERSONAL: Born Dec. 29, 1992... majoring in business administration... parents are Pete and Carol Vandermeer.
