PRIOR TO LAKE ERIE: Qualified for the NCHSAA State Tournament after a Southeast Wake Athletic Conference championship in 2017 at 120 pounds... named SWAC All-Conference Second Team and Academic All-Conference in 2016... earned the highest GPA on the team and recieved the Scholar Athlete Team Award

PERSONAL: Born on June 18, 1999... son of La-Mine and Joseph Perkins... plans to study Chemistry at Lake Erie
