2013-14: National Qualifier at 141 pounds as a freshman...finished season with a 21-8 record...went 11-8 in opens and was a perfect 10-0 in dual meets...picked up six pins and five major decision victories...took eighth at the Michigan State Open, sixth at the Mount Union Invitational and finished fifth at the NCAA Super Regional 2 meet, winning his final match in overtime, to qualify for the NCAA National Championships...earned First-Team All-GLIAC honors at the GLIAC Championships

PRIOR TO LAKE ERIE: Was a four-year letterwinner in wrestling, cross country and track and field at Crestwood High School… was a three-time state qualifier, placing sixth in 2012 and third as a senior in 2013… was a four-time Portage Trail Conference champion… holds school records in wins and pins for both season and career…posted a 164-28 high school record with 86 career pins… was a 12-time scholar athlete
