Biography

2013-14: Finished with a 24-11 record at 133 pounds...10-5 record in opens and 14-6 in duals...one of the top in the nation with nine technical falls...took first-place at the Mount Union Invitational and seventh at the Midwest Classic...earned Second-Team All-GLIAC honors at the GLIAC Championships

2012-13: 19-11 record, 8-3 in duals...recorded four technical falls and six pins...took first-place at the Mount Union Invitational...took fourth at the Storm Open

2011-12: Complied a 19-17 overall record, primarily competing at 125 pounds... was one of Lake Erie's first two wrestlers to qualify for the NCAA Division II National Championships, earning a spot at 125 pounds... was 12-7 in open tournaments and 7-8 in dual matches... placed fourth at the NCAA Super Regional Two Tournament... placed third at the Storm Open and fourth at the University of Mount Union Invitational... started 15 of the team's 18 dual meets... wrestled twice at 133 pounds, winning both matches by falls. 

PRIOR TO LAKE ERIE: Was a four-year wrestler and golfer at Corry Area High School... was a three-time state qualifier in wrestling, posting a 140-28 career record.

PERSONAL: Born Sept. 6, 1992... majoring in pre-physical therapy... parents are James and Debbie Gillihan.
