Derek Stout is entering his fourth season as the head coach of Storm cross country and track & field programs and seventh overall in 2024-25

Stout, a native of northeast Ohio, returned to G-MAC competition as a former four-year athlete on the varsity track & field team at Walsh University where he competed in throwing events. He recorded top 10 finishes in both the indoor and outdoor Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) Championships while competing for the Cavaliers. Stout earned a B.S in theological studies.
