PRIOR TO LAKE ERIE: Played four years of baseball at West Bloomfield High School... was named all-league and all-county honorable mention as a senior, as well as "Laker of the Year"... team's most improved player as a junior... team won both district and regional championsips his sophomore year.

PERSONAL: Born Jan. 7, 1991... majoring in business... parents are Jim and Cheryl Altman.
