EVANSVILLE, Indiana -- The Lake Erie men's and women's cross country teams were represented in the 2023 NCAA DII Midwest Regionals this year. After a solid year, both teams would conclude their respective seasons this past weekend in Evansville.

Julia Laudato were once again the representatives for the women at regionals. Willet would place 59th overall with a time of 21:54.52 while Laudato would finish 119th with a time of 23:06.29 in the women's 6k.
On the men's side, Tay Gonzalez was the lone Storm competitor. He would finish 186th with a time of 36:13.73 in the men's 10k.
This concludes the 2023 cross country season for the Storm. All three athletes will be back in action when the Lake Erie men's and women's track & field team kick off their season on December 1st at the Youngstown State Icebreaker.
