Storm Ready to Run at Lock Haven River Run (Preview)

PAINESVILLE, Ohio – The Lake Erie College cross country team will be in action Saturday (Oct. 28) when they travel to compete in Lock Haven River Run. 

Storm Report: The Storm was in action last weekend as they competed in the Great Midwest Athletic Conference Championship.  The Storm had strong performances from Xavier Kibet (Nakuru, Kenya / Baringo) and Catherine Beisel (Geneva, Ohio / Geneva). 

Interim Head Coach Matt Stuck said "This meet carries a lot of excitement for our team since it was put on our schedule. It is at a course that is always very fast and flat. We have this meet circled on the calendar as a meet to not worry about place but to just go out there and run a personal best time. That is always a freeing feeling for these runners that usually have lots of race plans. So hopefully we get a good fall day so we can get out there and run fast".

Forecast: This meet will wrap up the 2017 cross country season for the Storm.
