PAINESVILLE, Ohio - Lake Erie College opens its 2015 campaign with a trip to the IUP Invitational. The Storm have a double on Friday (September 4th) and one match on Saturday (September 5th). Lake Erie will compete against Pitt-Johnstown and Alderson-Broaddus on Friday at 4:30 and 7 P.M. respectively, and Seton Hill on Saturday at 12:30 P.M. in Indiana PA.
Storm Report: The Storm is returning many members from last year's team. Three seniors are looking to lead the team this year: Mikaela Lengal (Brunswick, OH), Destiny Prusky (Newton Falls, OH), and Mallory Gustincic (Medina, OH). Lake Erie also added six new players onto this year's roster. Another new face added to the team this year, is recently added head coach Kevin Foeman, who is looking to take the team to the next level.
Series History: The Storm defeated Pitt-Johnstown 3-2 in 2009 in the only match-up between the two schools. Lake Erie will be facing off against the other teams for the first time in school history.
Forecast: Following this weekend's events, the Storm opens the home portion of their schedule September 15 against Alderson-Broaddus at 6 P.M.
