PAINESVILLE, Ohio- The Lake Erie College women's soccer team looks to snap a three game losing streak as they travel to Columbus, Ohio for a GLIAC matchup with the Ohio Dominican Panthers on Friday (Oct. 21) night. On Sunday (Oct. 23), the Storm will honor the seniors of the program with a game against the Findlay Oilers on Senior Day.
Storm Report: Lake Erie is currently 7-7 for the season after a 5-0 loss to Northern Michigan on Sunday (Oct. 16). Following the loss, the Storm has a 2-6 record in the GLIAC.
Series History: The Storm have faced off with the Panthers and the Oilers eight times in the series. Lake Erie has won one of eight matchups against Ohio Dominican. Against Findlay, Lake Erie has a 2-5-2 record in the series. Last year, the Storm fell to ODU 2-1 but defeated the Oilers 2-1.
Opposition Position: Ohio Dominican has an overall mark of 4-6-4 this season including a 3-3-2 GLIAC record. The Panthers fell 3-0 to Ferris State the last time out. Findlay dropped a 11-0 decision to Grand Valley State last weekend, dropping the Oilers to 3-10-1 overall and 1-6-1 in the GLIAC.
Storm Forecast: Lake Erie will close out the 2016 regular season with a road matchup at Walsh next Friday (Oct. 28).
